And that includes private sellers. $10,995. It was a one owner car. No accidents reported and from the features it has it looks to be ST3 because it has Recaros and the HID headlights. BUT! This thing has 135,690. Now Im not familiar with the reliability of the ST, but that’s a shit ton of miles for a one owner car. I think its a good price, but those miles man.

Gib Now!!! I don’t care how many miles that’s an awesome price.

There is a FiST with 175k+, though currently I will not speak of the reliability...

No problems to worry about?

175 I might buy it for 4500. No more than that.

I’d like to know how the previous owner put that many miles on in two years in those Recaros. They’re great seats but not for 50k miles a year. Jesus.

Maybe you get used to them? Like a pair of Vans. I want to know if those were highway miles or was the owner being a douchebag.

Socal commuting. I used to put 24k/yr on my car. My coworker then did 50k/yr. Most of the time, these cars haven’t had the chance for even one ass touch the rear seats(or in my case, even the passengers seat) or crease the leather

Yea Im a SoCal commuter too. Its how when I got my Sonic back in 2015 with 51 thousand miles to over 130 thousand it has now. So I did about 65k a year I think.

I’m sure there is, but who cares? Drive like you stole it until it breaks. Just kidding I don’t know anything about them. I would be tempted though.

If you don’t have a lot of seat time in them you wouldn’t know, but they eventually break in. I’ve done a few 8+ hour trips in them, and they are more comfortable than many seats I’ve been in.

Maybe an hour in a new car, so your crystal ball is working perfectly. Pretty tight fit for me and I’m not a particularly big guy.

I’ve heard this as well, but unfortunately after a test drive in the FoST with the Recaros there was no way I was going to risk it, they were so awful for that 15 minutes. I’ve also heard that the FiST and Mustang Recaros are better.

They could be, though the FiST’s are the tightest. The Mustang’s aren’t that tight.

This is a tricky one. Being that it is at a dealer, there is probably some wiggle room. I think $8-9k is the right spot for this. I keep checking the prices on these off-and-on thinking of getting one as a spare “fun” car when they get cheap enough. (I think they are too compromised to be a daily, which is probably why there are so many used ones for sale.) Asking prices on the ‘13's top out at around $16k for a low-mileage ST3 with plenty of 80k-ish ST3's and 50k lower trims asking around $13-14k. I’d rather have the lower miles, but if the dealer has some wiggle room it might be worth it. Despite the no accidents reported, make sure to check the title - a lot of these hot hatches have rebuilt titles.

I really need to drive a FiST. I’m a beanpole (6'2", 150 lb.) and have a tough time finding seats that hold me well, even in sporty cars. So that actually appeals to me. The problem is I don’t know anyone with one and I know if I test drove one at a dealer I’d probably start looking for ways to justify buying it. For some reason I just like the whole idea of the FiST which seems more like an every-day fun car then the FoST which just struck me during the test drive as something to be autocrossed or tracked and worse than the GTI at basically everything else.

The FiST is like a go-cart you can drive every day. If you were closer, I’d totally let you drive mine, though mine is creeping up the modification scale.
